Terms of Use

The rules for using Event Jukebox, guest request pages, purchases and connected music services.

Last updated 4 July 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Use apply to Event Jukebox, including the iPhone app, public website, admin website and guest request pages.

By using Event Jukebox, you agree to these terms. If you download Event Jukebox from Apple's App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement unless a separate custom licence is provided in App Store Connect.

Event Jukebox service

Event Jukebox helps hosts plan event music, connect Apple Music or Spotify, manage playback moments and create a private guest request page for an event.

The host is responsible for checking music, playlists, guest request settings, venue connectivity and playback devices before the event.

Guest request pages

Guest request pages are intended for private event use. Hosts choose whether requests are moderated, queued, voted on or sent to play next.

Guests must not submit unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, misleading or infringing content. Event Jukebox may block or remove content, sessions or access where needed to protect the service, hosts, guests or legal rights.

Music providers

Apple Music and Spotify services, catalog availability, account access, playback rights, subscriptions and regional restrictions are controlled by those providers.

Event Jukebox does not grant music rights, performance licences or public performance permissions. Hosts are responsible for any licences or venue requirements that apply to their event.

Purchases and subscriptions

App Store purchases, subscriptions, free trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are managed by Apple under the App Store terms shown at purchase.

If Event Jukebox offers a paid tier or event allowance, access continues only while the relevant purchase, subscription or entitlement is active and recognised by the app or service.

Acceptable use

You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, bypass security, access another event without permission or use Event Jukebox in a way that could harm the service or other users.

You must not use Event Jukebox for unlawful events, unlawful content, spam, harassment, impersonation or activity that infringes another person's rights.

Intellectual property

Event Jukebox, its design, branding, software and website content are owned by Event Jukebox or its licensors and may not be copied, resold or redistributed without permission.

Hosts and guests remain responsible for the information they submit. You give Event Jukebox permission to process that information only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service.

Availability and changes

Event Jukebox is provided as a practical event tool, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Internet access, venue networks, device state, provider availability and App Store services can affect performance.

Event Jukebox may update, suspend, remove or change features where needed for security, reliability, provider requirements, legal reasons or product improvement.

Liability

Event Jukebox is provided without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Event Jukebox is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, event disruption, music-provider outages, unavailable songs, venue connectivity, device issues or content submitted by hosts or guests.

Privacy and support

The Privacy Policy explains how Event Jukebox handles app, website, event and guest request information.
